Ecological Assessment of a Proposed Golf Course near Port Hughes
EBS Ecology was selected to conduct an ecological assessment of a proposed golf course and housing development immediately adjacent to the town of Port Hughes on South Australia’s Yorke Peninsula.  The proposed development site is used for agricultural pursuits such as cereal cropping and sheep grazing.

As part of the ecological assessment, a vegetation survey and fauna assessment were undertaken.

Revegetation and Bushcare Contract Administration at Happy Valley
EBS Ecology has provided services to the Happy Valley Lifestyle Village for several years.  As part of the lifestyle village development, significant funds were set aside to manage and improve an area (approx. 8 ha) of Eucalyptus microcarpa Woodland.  Initially, EBS Ecology reviewed and updated the Native Vegetation Management Plan for the site.  This involved further developing weed management strategies and revegetation requirements across the project site.

Ecological Assessment of a Proposed Marina Development on Hindmarsh Island
EBSEcology conducted an ecological assessment of a proposed residential waterfront development on Hindmarsh Island, South Australia.  The area proposed for development consisted primarily of cleared agricultural land with patches of native vegetation and exotic pine trees.

As part of the ecological assessment, a vegetation survey, bird survey and fauna assessment were completed.
