Generally, these have been undertaken to satisfy legislative requirements associated with the Development Act 1993 (significant tree legislation), Native Vegetation Act 1991 and the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999.
EBS Ecology has been successful in winning a number of projects in various regions across South Australia including The Riverland, Yorke Peninsula, the South East and Fleurieu Peninsula. Projects have included work on land subdivisions, marinas, golf course developments and retirement villages.
The projects undertaken for the property development sector have been predominantly impact assessment projects coupled with flora surveys and fauna assessments. Assessment of projects against the principles of the Native Vegetation Act 1991 are regularly undertaken utilising the in depth knowledge of the experienced EBSEcology team with respect to the legislation.
EBS Ecology also has proven experience in the management of revegetation and bushcare contracts which has been invaluable to clients in a number of development based projects.
