Fauna assessments and surveys are undertaken by EBS Ecology for a variety of reasons.

These include collecting valuable ecological data on a specific species, preparing an inventory of species for a given area and collecting data to allow the assessment of potential impacts of proposed developments.

At EBS Ecology, we maintain all of our own fauna survey equipment including cage traps, Elliott traps, pitfall traps, harp traps, mist nets, anabat detectors and miscellaneous items such as spotlights and snake catching kits. The experienced team at EBS Ecology are well trained and have experience undertaking fauna surveys across South Australia, New South Wales and Victoria. EBS Ecology also employs a full-time Ornithologist to undertake the bird component of general fauna surveys as well as specific bird related projects.
