Flora and Fauna Monitoring Services
EBS Ecology undertakes a range of flora and fauna monitoring projects.
These are often associated with the ongoing monitoring of potential impacts of development such as mine sites, but also include projects to monitor population levels of state and nationally threatened species, the impact of kangaroo grazing or monitoring the condition of native vegetation.
EBS Ecology has employed a range of monitoring methodologies which are adapted to a project to suit the requirements of the client, whilst maintaining scientific integrity. For example, at some sites the standard Department for Environment and Heritage flora survey methodology has been used, however, it has been modified to ensure data is collected at a finer scale and therefore any changes to species abundance or composition are easier to identify.
